Since 1983, the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM) has offered master’s degrees and certificates in pastoral studies and religious education to students across the United States and around the world. Through partnerships with dioceses, parishes, retreat centers, and other institutions, LIM brings Catholic, practical, and transformative education directly to where you are.
As a LIM student, you’ll join a local learning group that meets online, forming an intentional community of faith and inquiry. Together, you’ll explore the richness of the Christian tradition while connecting course material to your lived experience and ministry. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, the program—shaped by the work of Fr. Jerry Fagin, S.J.—integrates the graces of the Spiritual Exercises throughout your journey.
