Graduate Education in Your Location
The Loyola Institute for Ministry has offered master's degrees and certificates in pastoral studies and religious education in locations in the United States and around the world since 1983. Through partnerships with local sponsoring agencies (dioceses, parishes, retreat centers, or other institutions), we bring educational opportunities to you. By becoming a LIM student, you join a network of other adult learners and graduates from around the United States and internationally from six continents.
The Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension Program is Catholic, practical, transformative, and affordable. You join with your fellow students where you live to form intentional learning communities and undertake a sophisticated inquiry into the Christian tradition, while maintaining a disciplined conversation with your personal and professional experience. A primary feature of this program is its grounding in Ignatian spirituality. Through the work of Fr. Jerry Fagin, S.J., the graces of the “Spiritual Exercises” of St. Ignatius Loyola are woven throughout the program.
