There is a DRE position opening 27 May 2020 at Fort Drum, NY. This is federal job with a salary of $64K-$99K plus benefits. Applicants must have a Master of Religious Education degree or its equivalent such as an M.Div. with credits in religious education theory, practice, or spiritual formation and a minimum 2 years of documented professional experience leading a religious education program.
Army religious educators are civilian professionals who support the religious education and faith formation needs of soldiers and their families of all faith groups. The Army employs about 55 Directors of Religious Education stationed all around the world.
