LIM Professor Dr. Daniella Zsupan-Jerome writes, "From June 21-24, Santa Clara University hosted the third meeting of TheoCom, a global gathering of theologians and practitioners discussing theology and digital culture.  This annual event is created by the Pontifical Council for Social Communications in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and is sponsored by Our Sunday Visitor.   It is a blessing to have had the opportunity to present papers here for the past three years.   This year,  one salient theme focus was on the concept of presence: what it means to be present to one another in digital culture, and whether and how presence as mediated through the screens of our various gadgets can yield true and authentic encounters with one another.  One area of theology that speaks to this powerfully is that of sacramental theology.  In a paper titled “Virtual Presence as Real Presence?
