Lent with the Pack: Daily Email Reflection Retreat

Join Loyola University New Orleans for Lent with the Pack, a daily email reflection retreat that invites participants to reflect on Cura Personalis (caring for the whole person) during the season of Lent. Voices from across the Loyola community will share how they are inspired and renewed through scripture. In Louisiana's river parishes, a silent crisis unfolds as petrochemical waste threatens the health of mothers and their unborn children. This groundbreaking conference unites an unexpected coalition: Catholic faithful, medical experts, environmental scientists, and local families whose lives are shaped by industrial pollution. Through intimate discussions, expert presentations, and a revealing tour of affected areas, participants will wrestle with urgent questions at the crossroads of faith, medicine, and environmental justice. Together, they'll confront the harsh realities facing their community while seeking paths toward healing and change.

Meet the Director of the Loyola Institute for Ministry and learn about our degrees and certificates in theology and spirituality. They are Catholic, Ignatian, practical, and affordable. Get details on our B.A. in Ministry and Theology and master's degrees in pastoral studies and religious education, and learn more about our community of learners. Those who attend an Information Session and take a graduate or undergraduate class in calendar year 2025 will receive a one-time $500 tuition scholarship in their first semester.
