Alphonce C. L. Omolo holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Comparative Education from Ruhr University Bochum in Germany and a Master’s degree in Childhood Studies from the Institute of Education, University of London. Currently, he practices as a consultant in the field of children and youth safeguarding at the national and international levels. He is a member of the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) Small Christian Communities (SCCs) training team. He has over two decades of experience in an Urban Apostolate Programmes as a pastoral agent, social development coordinator, SCCs moderator and youth trainer. He is among the Commonwealth specialist pool of consultants for youth projects and a member of the faculty training Ministers and Permanent Secretaries on strategic leadership management: accelerating youth policy implementation in the Commonwealth by 2030.
Alphonce is self-motivated reflexive practitioner, leader, manager, trainer, writer, researcher, projects designer, coach, community mobiliser, international exchange moderator, fundraiser, grant manager amongst others. He is a recipient of the BENEMERENTI, a pontifical decoration for an exceptional service to the Catholic Church and Civil Society, by Pope Saint John Paul II.
