New Orleans Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond and Catholic Schools Superintendent Dr. RaeNell Houston have announced that Mr. Doug Triche will assume leadership as president/principal at Pope John Paul II High School for the 2018-2019 school year.
“I am pleased to appoint Mr. Doug Triche to lead Pope John Paul II High School,” said Dr. Houston. “I am confident that his leadership experience in the Catholic school community will be an asset to Pope John Paul II High School. Under Mr. Triche’s leadership, Pope John Paul II High School will thrive as a faith-filled institution of learning.”
Mr. Triche has been a part of the St. Charles Catholic High School community for over twenty years, serving as Assistant Principal since 2006. As Assistant Principal, he worked with institutional advancement and accreditation, curriculum and professional development, Catholic identity and technology integration. Mr. Triche holds a Master’s degree from Loyola University and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph Seminary College.
Mr. Doug Triche will officially assume the role of president/principal on July 1, 2018.
