Dr. Israel Díaz-Freytes is a Senior Instruction Content Developer at Candler School of Theology, Emory University and an adjunct faculty for Loyola Institute for Ministry in Loyola University New Orleans. Before coming to Candler, Dr. Díaz-Freytes served as a Theology Instructor in Catholic high schools for 24 years. He also served as a Master Catechist for the Archdiocese of Miami’s Catechetical Formation program and supported parish youth and adult faith formation ministries. Dr. Díaz-Freytes’ academic interests are centered on evangelization, religious education, and digital technologies.
