Tracey Lamont, Ph.D., Receives Tenure, Promotion to Associate Professor

On March 14, 2023, Loyola Institute for Ministry Interim Director Tracey Lamont received notice from Loyola Provost Dr. Tanuja Singh that her application for promotion in rank and tenure has been accepted. As of August 1 of this year, she will be a tenured Associate Professor of Religious Education and Young Adult Ministry.  Congratulations Dr. Lamont!

Tracey started as a non-tenure track instructor in August 2016. Quickly the following year, she entered the tenure track and has not looked back since. She has published impressive scholarship, inspired LIM students, served on numerous LIM/College/University Committees, and served the Church locally, regionally and nationally in the area of young adult ministry. So impressive has her work been that in 2022 the Lilly Foundation awarded her a $1.5 million grant to make Loyola an innovation hub for young adult ministry. What a gift she's been to LIM, Loyola, and the Church!
