Francisco Castillo, D.Min., participated in the 2024 Colloquium of the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS) from June 9-12 at Boston College's Connors Center. The Colloquium focused on the theme "Synodality En Conjunto: The People of God, the Bible, and Theology."
ACHTUS member Luis Donaldo González elucidates the concept: "Synodality en conjunto is the pathway for voices from all cultural heritages to be actively reflected in the church's life as integral parts of God's people."
During the event, Dr. Castillo presented his paper, "Going to the Peripheries: Una Teología y Pastoral de Convivio in Synodal Key," to an audience of theology professors and graduate students.
