Loyola Institute of Ministry celebrates alumna Lindy Brasher, M.R.E., recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Staff Award at the Magis Leadership Awards Ceremony held April 24 in Nunemaker Auditorium.
This prestigious recognition honors a non-teaching staff member who has gone above and beyond their responsibilities in service to Loyola's students, programs, and facilities.
At the ceremony, Student Government Association Vice-Presdent Rowan Sawyer praised Brasher as "a true reflection of Jesuit values, living them out every day through her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to serving others."
As University Minister for Social Justice, Brasher is dedicated to building bridges and fostering inclusive communities across campus. She approaches her work with a deep calling to help others experience God's love and foster unity amid diversity.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Brasher finds renewal through contemplative practices and connecting with nature, while continually weaving faith into action through meaningful dialogue and service initiatives.
Her master's degree from Loyola Institute of Ministry has equipped her to translate theological concepts into accessible experiences for students, embodying the university's mission of educating men and women for and with others.
