LIM Associate Project Director Honored with Outstanding Staff Award

Claire Gallagher, M.A., was recognized with the Outstanding Staff Member Award at the College of Nursing and Health Honors Convocation on May 9, 2025. Dean Michelle Collins, Ph.D., presented the award. Claire serves as Associate Project Director for the Flourishing Sisterhood project, an initiative for Catholic sisters in the Gulf Coast region that is funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.

The award recognizes exceptional contributions to the college's mission and outstanding service to students, faculty, and the broader community. Gallagher's leadership on the Flourishing Sisterhood project has advanced the college's commitment to promoting wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

This recognition reflects Claire's dedication to enhancing the well-being religious sisters and her collaborative approach to work, exemplifying the Jesuit values we strive to enact in our college community.

The Flourishing Sisterhood project focuses on learning and spiritual formation centered on practical theology, aging, and well-being. The Flourishing Sisterhood podcast features conversations with sisters from the Gulf South. Each episode features a new story of spirituality, resilience, innovation, resolve, and faith in action.
