Collaboration Yields Insight into Catholic Social Teaching and Social Action Ministry

Faculty member Thomas Ryan, Ph.D., was interviewed for an article in Northwest Catholic regarding a report he wrote about perceptions of Catholic Social Teaching (CST) and perceptions of diocesan commitment to CST and social action. The report was the result of a collaboration between the Loyola Institute for Ministry and the Roundtable Association of Catholic Diocesan Social Action Directors. The Roundtable solicited responses from those working in social ministry, and respondents completed a short 10-minute survey on a variety of topics related to Catholic Social Teaching. Dr. Ryan analyzed the data and compiled the findings.
