On November 23, 2021, Emily Demoor, Ph.D., will give the keynote address at the Loving the Planet Symposium sponsored by the Project for the Study of Love in Religion at Regents Park College, Oxford, the Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture, and the Caritas Center at Brescia University. Online attendance is free. The symposium includes the launch of a new book of inter-faith essays on love in religion, Love as Common Ground (ed. Paul S. Fiddes), and brings together a wide range of international scholars from all over the world, discussing differing perspectives on religion, love and interfaith engagement as it pertains to loving the planet. Online attendance is free of charge, but registration is necessary. 

Dr. DeMoor's address is entitled "Love, Intersubjectivity and the Natural World." It will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 9.00 am – 10.30 am CST. She currently is the director of the Caritas Center at Brescia University.
