Amanda Livermore, MPS, has recently been selected as the Feasibility Study Director of a Cristo Rey High School proposed for the Orlando area. Of this new venture, Amanda has said, "My LIMEX education will serve me well as I continue to build the Kingdom of God in central Florida. The Cristo Rey model will serve our community well, and I am excited to see how the Lord works through it all."
Amada had previously served as the Vice President of Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, where she honed her leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills. Her work there has prepared her well to lead the effor to bring a Cristo Rey High School to central Florida. The mission of The Cristo Rey Network of high schools is to deliver a career-focused, college preparatory education in the Catholic tradition for students with limited economic resources, uniquely integrating rigorous academic curricula with four years of professional work experience and support to and through college.
We congratulate Amanda and wish her success in her new role!
