Alumna Becky Eldredge Inspires Readers to Find the Sacred in Everyday Life

LIM alumna Becky Eldredge, MPS, celebrated a major milestone in January 2026 with the release of her newest book, Encounter Grace (Loyola Press). In this heartfelt guide, Becky invites readers to discover God’s presence in the ordinary moments of daily life, offering reflections, prayer practices, and guidance rooted in Ignatian spirituality.

An Ignatian-trained spiritual director, Becky has spent over 25 years accompanying clergy, religious, and lay leaders through spiritual direction, retreats, and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. She trains spiritual directors, teaches Ignatian prayer and discernment, and empowers others to accompany people in their relationship with Christ. She is also the founder of Ignatian Ministries, through which she continues to mentor and guide others in the Ignatian tradition.

Becky is an award-winning author with three published works: Busy Lives and Restless Souls (2017), The Inner Chapel (2020), and now Encounter Grace (2026). In 2023, she received the Writers Award in Spirituality for her contributions to Ignatian prayer, spirituality, and discernment.

Becky credits her Loyola Institute for Ministry formation with shaping her approach to accompaniment, leadership, and service. She shares life with her husband and three children, continuing to live out the integration of faith, family, and ministry.
