Recent graduates Caitlyn Galjour and Stephanie Spengel, together with professor Thomas Foster, have completed an empirical study that was accepted for publication by the Journal of Adult Development. Their manuscript is titled "Investigating holistic wellness dimensions during older adulthood: A factor analytic study." Graduate students Lynsey Hinnenkamp and Laura Pignato, and alum of the program Ariann Evans (who is currently pursuing doctoral studies) have been involved in Dr. Thomas Foster's year-long Research Practicum course here at Loyola. The group was recently accepted to present their ongoing empirical research at the 2016 ACA conference in Montreal, Canada. Their presentation is titled, "College Students' Wellness and Development Treated using EMDR and ACT." Congratulations to Lynsey, Laura, Ariann, and Dr. Foster!

One of Allison's many duties is to keep track of usage of materials from the Catholic Sexulaity website on social media/networks. The St. Augustine Foundation also has a Youtube channel. The foundation is a resource for educators in the areas of human sexuality and Natural Family Planning, with the US Catholic Bishops endorsing the site.

The School of Nursing is proud to announce and congratulate Associate Professor Laurie Anne Ferguson DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, FNP-C, CPNP for being inducted into the 2015 Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners! The Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners selected 70 nurse practitioner leaders from across the United States. The new inductees joined the ranks of approximately 450 fellows across the nation and were honored Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the AANP National Conference at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
