We are excited to share that two tenure faculty members, Thomas Foster, Ph.D., LPC-S and LeAnne Steen, Ph.D., LPC-S, along with Alumna Ariann Evans, MS, NCC, PLPC, and student Laura Pignato presented at The 2016 ACA Conference in Montereal, Canada. They reported their studies' results that examined how the first six psychological stages of development predicted wellness in college students. They talked about how trauma can serve as the etiology of failed stage resolution, described many trauma models, gave a demonstration of the cognitivie mapping assessment procedure through EMDR, and provided clinical approaches to deal with the trauma using ACT.
