Counseling Student Helps Launch "Care for Creatives"

Second year counseling student, Sarah Zoghbi, has been named Director of Care for Creatives. Care for Creatives represents a unique partnership between Southern Rep Theatre and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic. The programs unite New Orleans’ creative community with mental health practitioners in a sanctuary space to promote resilience through enriching workshops and engaging events. Supportive activities are centered around personal development, psychological education, and healing with drama, music, visual art, movement, guided relaxation, and other expressive forms.

A full schedule of Wellbeing Workshops (registration open now - space is limited), Healing Power Hours (drop in any Tuesday night), and Sunday Brunch Talks can be found online and attached.

Additional information about Sarah's work with Care for Creatives can be found in the September 18, 2018 Nola.com article here: https://www.nola.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2018/09/southern_rep_permanent_space_m.html
