Loyola’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program provides advancement for associate degree and diploma graduates who are registered nurses (RNs) licensed to practice in the United States. This RN to BSN program provides the opportunity for registered nurses to enhance their success in the health care environment and to advance their career to the next level.

The RN to BSN program provides students with a broad base of liberal studies in the Jesuit tradition in order to enhance understanding of self, others, and the world in which we live, in addition to a working knowledge of concepts essential to contemporary professional nursing practice.

A leader in online education, Loyola understands a busy schedule. The online nursing courses in the BSN program are asynchronous and ideal for students who have busy schedules and need a program that can be flexible.

Students may enter the BSN program during any semester: Summer, Fall or Spring. Additional program features include:

  • No on-site clinical required
  • Non-nursing courses are offered online
  • Transfer policies for nursing and non-nursing courses allow substantial course substitution opportunities whenever possible
  • A deferral plan is available for those participating in an employer reimbursement program
