Sherri holds an ASN from Charity School of Nursing, a BSN from the University of Phoenix, and an MSN in Pediatric Nursing Education from the University of South Alabama. With over 30 years as a RN, she has experience in Pediatric Critical Care, Emergency Nursing & management. Sherri is certified as a Simulation Healthcare Educator and an Acute and Critical Care Pediatric Nurse. She instructs BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses and has received several accolades, including recognition as one of the Louisiana Great 100 Nurses in 2007 and the Daisy Faculty Award in 2018. She has over 15 years of nursing education experience, including two years as a clinical instructor and over 10 years in simulation.
