Jennifer “Jenna” Bourgeois Martin has 13 years of experience as a nurse anesthesia educator. She is a three-time graduate of LSUHSC earning her BSN in 1999, Master of Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia in 2005, and post-Master’s Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2013. Dr. Martin was a Neonatal and Adult Cardiac ICU nurse prior to pursuing her degree in nurse anesthesia. She has worked as a full-time CRNA at various hospitals and facilities and her areas of specialization are pediatric, obstetric, and office-based anesthesia. She continues to practice anesthesia one day a week at a local area hospital specializing in surgical reconstruction for breast cancer survivors, and holds credentials at all major hospitals throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
