Dr. Lisa Linville named “Outstanding Doctoral Student”

Lisa Linville, Assistant Professor of Nursing, was awarded the Doctor of Nursing Science degree at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Nursing’s commencement ceremony on December 12.    During the ceremony, Dr. Linville was named “Outstanding Doctoral Student” and received the School’s award for writing excellence.

While in her doctoral program, Dr. Linville worked collaboratively with faculty at LSU to develop a manuscript entitled “A Mixed Methods Approach to Understanding Nurses' Clinical Reasoning in Recognizing Delirium in Hospitalized Older Adults”.  Dr. Linville was recently notified that their manuscript has been accepted for publication in The Journal of Continuing Education.
