Dr. Patricia Pearce, Associate Professor of Nursing, has been elected to Distinguished Fellowship in the National Academies of Practice (NAP) and the Nursing Academy as a Distinguished Scholar and Fellow. To be elected to NAP fellowship means those leaders in the profession of nursing, previously distinguished, value the work of Dr. Pearce. NAP Fellows are considered the most accomplished in their field and are invited to apply and go through a rigorous selection process.
Dr. Pearce will be inducted at a black tie Gala Banquet at the 2014 Annual NAP Meeting and Forum in Alexandria, Virginia on April 5.
Faculty, staff, and students of the School of Nursing extend our sincere congratulations to Dr. Pearce for this prestigious accomplishment.
