MSN Graduate and Current DNP Student Published in The Journal of the Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization

Warren Hebert, a graduate of our MSN program and now a DNP student has published the attached article titled "Interdisciplinary Team Competencies in Engaging Family Caregivers in The Journal of the Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.   Warren put together a group of healthcare and end of life professionals who will spend 14 days in the Tibetan communities in exile in northern India. There we will observe aging, family caregiving- (tying in my capstone), end of life care, and Tibetan traditions around death and dying. They will return informed of  the Tibetan people’s traditions we might apply here in the U.S.

The following YouTube video by Ande Taylor is the work of  a film-maker traveler (https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=v5LajBD4L-k ).  Ande Taylor came to Louisiana to interview Warren and others and used the trailer to get funding from Texas PBS to get them to fund her trip and the making of a short film or documentary.
