Lisa Russo Authement, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a Doctorate of Nursing Practice student in the Loyola University School of Nursing, has been awarded the American Association of Nurse Practitioner’s $2,500 Take Care Health Promotion, supported by a generous donation from Walgreen’s Take Care Health Systems.  Ms. Authement’s Capstone Project is entitled, Targeting Discrepancies: Quality Improvement in Medication Reconciliation in the Older Population Transitioning from Acute to Ambulatory Care.  Ms. Authemont’s Capstone Project Chair is Patricia Pearce, MPH, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, and her Mentor is Dr. Russell Henry, Houma, LA.
