JoAnn Otts, MSN, RN (Sedona, AZ), a Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice student was selected from a national cohort of students from over 400 schools to serve as one of six doctoral student representatives for a two-year term of the national Leadership Council of the Graduate Student Academy (GSNA).  She will be involved in strategic planning to support the graduate students in nursing from across the country.  Ms. Otts is a May 2015 graduate of the Loyola University New Orleans MSN program as well, and received the Scholar Award for Master’s Student in spring 2015.  In her DNP Scholarly Project, she will be investigating quality assurance initiatives in the chronic kidney disease care setting.  Her anticipated graduation will be spring 2017.
