Adjunct Faculty in the School of Nursing speaks at United Nations.

In November 2013, Diane Scott was asked to speak at the United Nation's Division for Public Administration and Development Management United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs on the measurement, application and assessment of "Happiness at Work" .  She is currently a partner at the iOpener Institute of People and Performance, based in Oxford, UK where her company researches and applies the science of happiness at work with organizations throughout the world.  Her Loyola courses include Nursing Financial Resources I & II.  Workplace Happiness and Healthcare Finance- may seem like a unique combination of expertise, but Diane believes that Happiness can be assessed, analyzed and acted upon.  She proposes that an intricate knowledge of healthcare finances can give employees a greater sense of control over their workplace: a key factor in happiness at work!
