Francesca (Chi Chi) Losita, a 2013 graduate of the DNP Executive Leadership Program and 2011 graduate of the HCSM MSN Program was recently appointed as the Magnet Recognition Program Coordinator at Winter Park Memorial Hospital a Division of Florida Hospital in Winter Park, Florida.  The ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® is the most prestigious distinction a healthcare organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes. It is a credential that reaffirms the hard work and dedication of the entire nursing staff and reinforces the development and use of evidence-based criteria to achieve nursing excellence.  Chi Chi credits her years of experience coupled with her advance nursing degrees for her excellent preparation to assume responsibility for the rigorous process in achieving Magnet accreditation.   Chi Chi also sends her sincere thanks to the entire faculty and staff who were a part of her MSN & DNP journey at Loyola University New Orleans.   She said “If not for your continued guidance and support I don’t think I would have been as successful.  I will forever be grateful”.
