Rachel grew up in Hobe Sound, FL and received a BS in Psychology from The University of Tampa. Upon graduating, she worked in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician, working with children under the age of 12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also spent time working as a counselor for children with ADHD at Florida International University's Summer Treatment Program.
Rachel entered Loyola’s counseling program in the fall of 2017. Her interests include social justice, multicultural issues, and working with families of children with developmental disorders. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, fostering animals through the LA-SPCA, and spending time in nature. In the future, she plans to work providing community-based services to developmentally challenged children, and their families.
