Abby McNeil

Dr. Abby McNeil holds multiple nursing degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and is board certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 20 years of teaching experience and 25 years as an advanced practice nurse, she has significant expertise in telemedicine for children and adolescents in community mental health. Dr. McNeil's research focuses on secondary traumatic stress, mental health for sexually abused children, and enhancing nurse practitioner readiness for integrated care. She is active in several professional organizations and aims to improve mental health care access in rural Louisiana.
