Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am an intern pursuing my M.S. in Counseling at Loyola University. I earned my B.S. in Political Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a navy pilot and NROTC instructor for ten years before stepping away from my career to spend more time with my children. I returned to the classroom with the goal of aiding others in navigating life’s many challenges as a licensed professional counselor.
I utilize an existential therapeutic foundation and believe every person has the potential to lead a life of purpose and significance. I strive to help clients move toward greater self-understanding and acceptance while addressing challenges presented by major life changes, relationships, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I work with adolescents, adults of all ages, couples, and families. When not in the clinic, I love spending time with my husband, three teenagers, and two rescue dogs.
