Dr. Ariel Landry is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and serves as the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Project Coordinator at the Loyola Center for Counseling and Education. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Holy Cross in 2026. She also earned her Master of Science in Counseling, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Loyola University New Orleans in 2020, and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2017.
Over the past several years, Dr. Landry has provided individual and group counseling to children, adolescents, and adults and has worked across various settings, including inpatient behavioral health care and residential substance abuse treatment.
Dr. Landry’s professional interests include counselor education, clinical supervision, and counseling clients experiencing trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, addiction, and life transition issues. Grounded in Humanistic and Adlerian approaches, she integrates strengths-based strategies, activity-based techniques, play therapy, and EMDR-informed interventions to promote her clients’ growth, meaning-making, and resilience.
In her spare time, Dr. Landry enjoys spending quality time with her friends, pets, and family. She also likes crafting, exercising, and watching documentaries and true-crime/mystery content.
