Penny Roberts

Penny Roberts, PhD, MT-BC graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a bachelors in Piano Pedagogy and earned her masters in music therapy at Florida State University. She finished her PhD in Aging at Tulane University. Dr. Roberts brings over 10 years experience in music therapy in hospice and palliative care, oncology, and children and adolescents with special needs. She is the co-author of the Individualized Music Therapy Assessment Profile (IMTAP), has authored book chapters, and published several papers. Her research focuses on the impact of environment upon pain in older adults.
