Maddy Kolker (they/them) Maddy is pursuing their Masters in Counseling from Loyola University of New Orleans. They pull from their past as an actor to cultivate a creative and open therapeutic space. Maddy grounds their facilitation in Narrative therapy and draws from relational and mindfulness frameworks. Narrative therapy posits that people don't exist in a vacum, and considers how dominant discourses have made "problems" possible. They are originally from New York and have lived in New Orleans for the past eight years. They look forward to working with their fellow queer and trans community and are interested in supporting children and adults of all ages. Their clinical interests include grief and identity. Maddy especially loves their dog Luna and walks in the woods.
