Lisa McCaffety-Scott graduated from Rice University in 1993 with a degree in classical music. She worked at Rice University in admissions and financial management for nine years before relocating to New Orleans in 2009 to be closer to family. Since that time she has steadily grown relationships in the New Orleans philanthropic community, holding leadership roles at the Ogden Museum, Audubon Nature Institute, and the Bayou District Foundation in roles spanning COO/CFO and acting director, to capital campaign strategist. In 2017 Lisa formed an independent consulting company, McCaffety Scott LLC, and is also founder and Executive Director of the Evening in Blue Foundation Serving the Greater New Orleans Autism community.
