
Lila Pell is a clinical intern at the Loyola Center for Counseling Education (LCCE). She earned a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Tulane University in 2021, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University - New Orleans. She has organized multiple mindfulness retreats and facilitated many community wellness events in New Orleans.
Lila works with individuals age 16+, couples, and families. She is grounded in a family systems perspective, as she believes we all exist within networks of somatic, relational, and social systems, and that no human is an island. Lila endeavors to create a warm and empathetic environment for deep internal exploration, growth, and support. She often incorporates mindfulness and grounding techniques, nervous system awareness, journaling prompts, and creative exercises. Outdoor sessions may be an option.
