Eric is a lifelong resident of New Orleans where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of New Orleans. He has gained diverse experience working in the areas of education and human development as a teacher and mental health clinician among other roles. His passion for promoting holistic wellness inspired a return to further study in counseling to expand his impact as a mental health advocate. He is currently a second-year student in Loyola’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. His professional interests include school as well as clinical counseling and incorporating philosophical exploration, mindfulness practices, and creative expression in therapy. Eric’s personal interests include playing music, gardening, exploring outdoors, traveling, and staying active playing soccer, running, or cycling.
