Annalise Shields

Hello! My name is Annalise; I am an intern for the LCCE currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. I currently hold a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am interested in working with any adults who may be experiencing issues relating to transitions, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, and connection. I believe that counseling is a relationship that a client and I build on trust, authenticity, and empathy; together, we use this relationship to work towards constructing goals, building connections with others, and personal growth and healing. I aim to offer my clients a safe and compassionate place for self-exploration.
