Adam Samolsky is a Clinical Intern at Loyola Center for Counseling and Education (LCCE). He is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University New Orleans. He wants to help people find what they’re seeking (balance, growth, peace, etc) in an unstable world.
Adam approaches counseling from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, which means respecting and appreciating the different ways our bodies and minds operate in the world. Adam believes in the power of social networks and communities to influence our experience of the world, for better or worse. He also believes that we all have good reasons for our behaviors, habits, and beliefs, even if they aren’t serving us well. Outside of counseling, Adam likes to feed his body, mind and soul with music, physical activity, and human connection.
