The American Academy of Nursing will induct the 2018 of Fellows during its annual policy conference, October 31st to November 3rd. Loyola faculty member Dr. Warren Hebert, three time graduate of Loyola School of Nursing and an assistant professor over the past two years, will be inducted with the new cohort of Fellows. Dr. Hebert joined the faculty in 2016, teaches on all three levels, and focuses on leadership, health policy and community-based care.
The Academy includes over 2500 fellows, from every state in the nation, the District of Columbia, and 29 countries. The Academy’s 2017 announcement indicated Academy Fellows include “nurse leaders from education, management, practice, policy, and research… They bring a rich variety of expertise to the table, and we look forward to recognizing their accomplishments at our policy conference, and then working with them to transform health policy, practice, and research by applying our collective nursing knowledge."
