Stephen Hoyt

Stephen (he/him) began his clinical practicum at Loyola Center for Counseling & Education in May of 2022. He is currently pursuing a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University New Orleans and plans to graduate in May 2023. After completing his B.A. in Anthropology-Sociology from Knox College in 2013, he has worked in special education for eight years and called New Orleans home since 2015. Stephen approaches counseling from the perspectives of narrative therapy and solution-focused brief therapy, and has an interest in working with individual children, adolescents, and adults.
