Hi, my name is Sidnea (she/her/hers). I am working toward completing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University. Previously, I completed a B.S. in psychology at Spring Hill College in 2020. My counseling style integrates person-centered, solution-focused, and family systems approaches. I aim to create an empathic, collaborative, and trusting environment where you can be your authentic self as you work toward your goals. I view counseling as a process in which I openly listen to you, help you to explore and define present challenges and find healthy solutions. I view you as the expert on your life, while I serve as a guide to help provide different opportunities and seek new methods of change. I work with individual clients and couples of all backgrounds and identities and am particularly interested in serving the LGBTQ+ community. I have experience helping clients work through a variety of concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, adjustment to life transitions, relational and interpersonal concerns, identity formation, and career challenges.
