Eric is a lifelong resident of New Orleans where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of New Orleans. He has gained diverse experience working in the areas of education and human development as a teacher and mental health clinician among other roles. His passion for promoting holistic wellness inspired a return to further study in counseling to expand his impact as a mental health advocate. He is currently a Clinical Intern at the LCCE and expects to graduate from Loyola’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in the Spring of 2022. His professional interests include clinical as well as school counseling, and incorporating philosophical exploration, mindfulness practices, and creative expression in therapy. Eric’s personal interests include playing music, gardening, exploring outdoors, traveling, and staying active playing soccer, climbing, or cycling.
