Hello! My name is Dario Bayardo. I use the pronouns he/him/his. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2008. I approach counseling from a client-centered, humanistic perspective using a non-directive approach. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment. Therapy provides an opportunity for learning, growth, change, and a better understanding of self. Counseling is a process that requires we treat each other as equals, build trust for one another, collaborate to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. I focus on adolescent and adult clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, and trauma. I can also assist clients with marriage and family issues. I approach counseling using Bowenian Family Systems Theory. I do not work individually with children under six.
