A native of California, Claire graduated with a B.A. in Art from UCLA in 2011. Her interests and experience have been at the intersection of mental health, chronic illness and disability, multicultural issues, thanatology, and creative arts. At Loyola her research focus has been on chronic illness and expressive art therapies. Claire plans to use her education in family systems, narrative therapy, and art therapy to work with populations affected by illness and grief.
In her free time, Claire reads fiction, writes music, and practices sanshou.
