Soren graduated from Tulane University with a double major in Psychology and English. In that time, he assisted with research on the effects of music mentoring programs on students in underserved schools. Since then, he’s transitioned into clinical work, with an interest in counseling as a means to reduce recidivism and mass incarceration. He also strives to incorporate art, mindfulness, and nature into a therapeutic practice. He has experience working with people with dementia and their caregivers using improv techniques. He also has experience working with kids through camps and sports. His clinical style is non-directive, focusing on creating an environment in which a person can work towards their own insights and goals.
