Crystal joined LOYNO originally in August 2016 working in several departments across LOYNO's campus and values the connections she's made from each position. She joined the Office of the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health in August 2021.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, she brings creative solutions while maintaining balance for the College of Nursing and Health and the School of Nursing.
She is also a member of College of Nursing and Health Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Standing Committee.
In her personal life, she has helped dozens of victims of non-consensual pornography get their photographs removed the web. She is also a member of and advocate of the LGTBQ+ and poly communities, as well as for inclusion more broadly.
Along with her partners, she runs a home haunted house that provides a free Halloween event for the New Orleans neighborhood. It has been operating since 2005 and entertains over a thousand people each year. She also is a co-host of a podcast Haunt Weekly that has over 350 episodes.
She has also had several small business adventures including: photographer, headdresss maker, artist, jewelry maker and more.
