The Counseling Department faculty will be traveling to Philadelphia this fall to participate at the national conference of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). All five full-time faculty members have been accepted to present at the conference. Their presentations are listed below:

One of Allison's many duties is to keep track of usage of materials from the Catholic Sexulaity website on social media/networks. The St. Augustine Foundation also has a Youtube channel. The foundation is a resource for educators in the areas of human sexuality and Natural Family Planning, with the US Catholic Bishops endorsing the site.
Professors John Dewell and Kevin Foose recently traveled to Cleveland to give a presentation at the National Conference for the Association of Humanistic Counseling. The School of Nursing is proud to announce and congratulate Associate Professor Laurie Anne Ferguson DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, FNP-C, CPNP for being inducted into the 2015 Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners! The Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners selected 70 nurse practitioner leaders from across the United States. The new inductees joined the ranks of approximately 450 fellows across the nation and were honored Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the AANP National Conference at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
A native of New Orleans, Lorraine is a singer, songwriter, and music minister whose music is inspired by her faith journey as a Catholic wife and mother. In preparation for the release concert, Lorraine is collecting prayer intentions through her website, and attendees will be praying for those intentions during the night.

Warren Hebert is an accomplished CEO for the Homecare Association of Louisiana with a passion for improving health care. As a board member of Famlies Helping Families of Acadiana, the Louisiana Rural Health Association and the Advocacy Center in Louisiana, Hebert has continued his efforts to improve the lives of those in Louisiana while extending his educational research to other cultures. His research into Tibetan's attitudes towards death and dying earned him an invitation to give the keynote address at the Transcultural Nursing Society in April, 2015.
